Groups & Activities
Family Night Dinner is Wednesdays at 5 PM and is open to the entire congregation.
The Christian Women's Fellowship meets on the first Thursday at 1:30 PM.
The Quilters meet every Tuesday at 1 PM
A volunteer group of committed Christians offer prayer for members and friends of the congregation upon request. You may contact the church office to have your name or the names of those you care about placed on this prayer list.
Youth & Children Ministry
Just For Kids program is for kids kindergarten through fifth grade and meets Wednesdays after school from September through April. Kids are bussed from school to the church.
Chi-Rho, 6-8th, graders, meets on Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30 PM.
CYF, 9-12th graders, meets on Sundays from 5:30-7 PM.
Choir
Macon FCC offers a choir for teens through adult ages that usually practices on Wednesday evenings.
Bible study in small groups is offered; check the church calendar for schedules. A social activity group for persons of retirement age called The Leisurely Blessed has many opportunities for trips and social gatherings throughout the year. Aerobics is offered three times a week during the school year from 6-6:45 AM in the multi-purpose room. Walkers may use the same room Monday-Friday. The last Tuesday of each month is a workday with opportunity for service and fellowship, free blood pressure checks, and a great carry-in lunch. Our church is responsible for a section of highway clean-up, delivery of meals to elderly, community food pantry, delivery of tapes of Sunday services to home-bound, and numerous other seasonal activities and services.
